Edith was born to John Wesley Age and Kathleen Horne-Age. She grew up in Crockett Bluff, AR. After graduating from Immanuel High School, Edith attended AM&N followed by earning a BSN from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Later she earned teaching credentials from University of California at Los Angeles. She has held various positions over the course of her career from faculty member at Ventura College to Director of Nursing at two different medical facilities. She is also an active member of St. James M.B. Church in Fayetteville, AR. Edith was married to the late Reverend J. Aaron Hawkins. They have three children: Traci, Terri and Travis, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Carolyn Smith-McCoy

Carolyn was born to Cleo Smith and Willie B. Mosley-Smith. Carolyn began her teaching career of more than 20 years with DeWitt Public Schools. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Director of Arkansas River Educational Service Cooperative. She is a member of numerous service organizations such as Delta Sigma Theta. Carolyn earned a BS in Education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a M.S.E. from Southern University. Additionally, she is a member of Providence M.B. Church, Almyra, AR. Her husband of 39 years is A.C.McCoy. Together they have three children, Carla, Lisa and Terrance. Their granddaughter is Chloe.

Minnie was born on January 6,1895 to Dock Dewberry and Lucy Geans. The Lookout Community was her home for most of her life. She was a dedicated member of Shady Grove A.M.E. Church in Lookout. She was married to Henry McIlwaine. Minnie and husband managed to acquire considerable land. Today a portion of the road in the Lookout Community is named McIlwaine Loop. Later in life, Minnie was cared for by her loving sister, Maggie.

Ella was born to John Bock and Pauline Steck-Bock. Her husband of 59 years was Lester Mitchell. They had two sons: Tommy and Troy, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Ella’s occupation was as a homemaker. She was a devote Christian who integrated her faith into every aspect of her life. She was humble, kind and compassionate to everyone she met. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, reading and baking delicious pastries.

Eddie Hue Smith, Sr. has served his Casscoe community admirably as a gifted mechanic and friend. He retired from Riceland Foods after 38 years of service. Currently, he serves as Trustee of St. Olive M.B. Church.His parents were the late Tommy Smith and the late Lillian Jackson-Smith. Eddie has been joined in holy matrimony to Odella Mae Smith for 55 years. Together they have six children: Angela, Valerie, Vernica, Eddie Smith, Jr., Michael and Marco. He is a graduate of Immanuel High School.
